About our role

We are looking for a talented Assistant Ice Rink Manager to be part of our dynamic team.  Reporting to the Ice Rink Manager, the candidate will be assisted Ice Rink Manager in the daily operation of the Cityplaza Ice Palace.  Duties include organising promotional activities & retail management, providing reports to the Ice Rink Manager and develop training programme for staff.

Responsibilities will include

  • Implementing operational policies & procedures, preparation works & staff arrangement for ice shows, competition, and rink rental

  • Preparing routine reports such as income report, customer feedback, market research & provide recommendations

  • Organising skate shop promotional activities, conducting internal auditing activities for income and inventory management control

  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints, and ensure the safety, cleanliness and quality of ice rink

  • Handling staff recruitment & supervision, conducting performance review and implementation of in-house training programmes, as well as preparing duty roster, job allocation and staff payroll

  • Managing skating school related operations and activities, such as coach and frontline staff supervision, system enhancement, handling ISI recreational sport, ice hockey, curling & arranging VOI core programme

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have

  • Diploma holder preferably in Business Administration or Hospitality Management

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of retail or hospitality management

  • Customer service oriented

  • Fluent spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua

  • Good computer skills on MS Word, Excel

  • Willing to work on shift (5 days work week; 9:30am – 6:00pm or 2:00pm – 10:30pm)
