About our role

As a senior member of the Health and Safety team, you will play a key role in the management of Swire Properties’ (SPROPS) corporate Zero Harm initiative and Health and Safety Management System.  By working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to a positive health and safety culture and improvements to SPROPS overall health and safety performance across both leading and lagging indicators. 

Responsibilities will include

  • Manage SPROPS reporting requirements including monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting requirements as well as working with SPROPS stakeholders on incident reporting and data analysis.

  • Support the Health and Safety Manager with incident investigation involving injuries, Hi-Po incidents and other H&S incidents.

  • Develop and manage health and safety training programs for managers and front-line employees

  • Manage safety inspections and ISO 45001 audit program, including participation in safety walks and briefings

  • Support SPROPS operations on health and safety risk management and awareness.

  • Ensure SPROPS health and safety procedures are relevant, user friendly and in line with industry best practice.   

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have

  • Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Quality Assurance, Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.

  • 6 years of working experience in occupational health and safety / HSEQ within a sizable corporation, preferably in the property development / property management sector.

  • Proven track record of managing / supervising ISO 45001 compliant management systems.

  • Experience and knowledge of conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis and identifying / implementing corrective actions.

  • Practical experience in developing and delivering health and safety training.
