About our role

We are now looking for a talented and driven Manager - Finance Transformation to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Finance Transformation and Operations, the incumbent will be the key team member to drive the digital transformation of key finance processes and support in upskill/ reskill of finance colleagues in the Company. The digitalization initiatives will include using the latest technologies that include but are not limited to Data analytics, AI, Blockchain and Robotic Process Automation. The incumbent will lead and manage new projects including planning, coordination, execution, presentation and reporting.

Responsibilities will include

  • Work closely with Information Technology and related departments, external vendors/ consultants and user departments to develop new systems and new projects in the pipeline

  • Drive and manage all stages in project life cycle, from project initiation to project completion and evaluation

  • Review, revamp and automate existing financial processes and procedures; identify area of improvement and streamline the existing processes for efficiency

  • Assist the UAT with the users and validate testing result by performing detailed evaluation

  • Provide training and handover session to user departments for new enhancement/projects deployed

  • Arrange group sharing sessions, trainings, or other activities in promoting digitalization capabilities and culture of the finance team

  • Assist the formalisation and implementation of Finance Data Strategy

  • Handle ad hoc assignments or projects as required

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have

  • Degree holder in accounting, data analytics, computing or relevant subjects

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with experiences in the real estate industry will be an advantage

  • Previous experience in auditing/accounting, particularly with project implementation exposure is preferred 

  • Proficient in computerized accounting systems, Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Power Platform

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and Tagetik will be an advantage

  • Experience with design and development of data visualization tools is highly preferred

  • Experience in preparing and reviewing digitalization projects will be required

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders

  • A quick learner with the ability to work independently and be self-motivated and attentive to details
