About our role

We are now looking for a Business Partner & Employee Engagement Manager to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Partner & Employee Engagement, the successful candidate is accountable for ensuring allocated business units have the necessary HR support to drive the achievement of broader business and departmental goals.  The incumbent will work closely with business units to provide HR advices and support on all people related matters including the delivery of the assigned HR programmes.

Responsibilities will include

  • Act as HRBP to provide HR consultancy services to designated business units and to provide advice and assistance to managers and/or employees on all people related matters and/or queries related to performance, policies, grievances and disciplinary, etc

  • Support the execution of HR programmes, policies and initiatives, such as staff recognition programmes/awards, employee engagement, job titling, wellness, etc

  • Lead and support various HR projects, including but not limited to employee surveys, focus groups, wellness programmes and employee publications and communications

  • Review the manpower planning with departments and section heads and ascertain its justification to align with the budget plan and business need before execution

  • Compile management reports and statistical analysis including turnover rates, headcount summary, exit interview data, internal & external market data.

  • Participate in various annual planned HR initiatives, e.g. headcount budget, performance development review, jigsaw, etc

  • Work collaboratively with relevant parties on staff movement arrangements, e.g. transfer, promotion, secondment, exit, etc

  • Support the development, communication and implementation of HR initiatives, such as policies, guidelines and procedures

  • Provide guidance and supervision to the direct reports

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant disciplines

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience

  • Solid experience in managing difficult situations

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills

  • Strong commercial acumen, influencing and stakeholder management skills
