About our role

We are now looking for a talented Designer and videographer to be part of our dynamic team under Public Affairs department. This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally-savvy self-starter, who has the skills to deliver compelling design and video content about our corporate initiatives, people stories, leadership messaging, sustainability achievements and much more, in diverse visual styles across multiple platforms. The incumbent will provide substantive technical expertise, including shooting and editing, b-roll capture, still photography and graphic design skills to deliver content across various channels, including LinkedIn, social media, our corporate intranet and live events. This is a role for an innovative storyteller who can transform complex ideas into compelling visual narratives to capture our audience.  The ideal candidate should know how to maintain our brand’s look and feel whilst being adept at thinking out of the box and excited to explore new trends.


 

Responsibilities will include

  • Provide graphic design support for communication collaterals 

  • Work with the Communications team on the end to end video production process, including generating creative ideas for video content development, pre-production planning, storyboarding, filming, and delivering exceptional post-edited video output

  • Design and incorporate motion graphics such as subtitles and special effects into the final video output where applicable

  • Navigate development, production, and post-production processes with relevant teams in the organisation, ensuring stakeholders’ feedback is incorporated and approval processes are followed

  • Align and maintain corporate branding and style standards for all video content

  • Optimise existing video content for reuse across multiple formats, including social media and events

  • Capture and edit still photos at corporate events and on location

  • Manage video library to keep assets organised and accessible

  • Stay on top of industry trends, tools and techniques  

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have

  • 5+ years of experience in all aspects of video production, graphic design and digital content creation

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photo Shop, Illustrator, Light Room and Audition) or similar editing software

  • Demonstrated understanding of field and studio production, editing, audio and lighting

  • Skilled in photography and the use of photo editing software

  • Ability to balance multiple stakeholders and project perspectives

  • Motivated team player with strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong command of written and spoken English is required. Cantonese is a plus.
