We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Events and Projects to join our Public Affairs Department!   This is a role for an innovative individual, who has a strong passion for empowering youths.   You will also plan and manage the company’s signature CSR event, the Swire Properties White Christmas Street Fair, youth empowerment programme and the Swire Properties Placemaking Academy.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with talents youths to plan and manage the White Christmas Street Fair
  • Identify and build relationships with appropriate partners to plan and execute a range of programmes core to CSF, including F&B, live entertainment, retail, interactive workshop, and fundraising
  • Project manage organizers, venue owners, creative and logistic partners and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the key objectives are met and executed to quality standards
  • Oversee budget, maintain objective performance measurements and assessment criteria
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of events related communications collateral, merchandise Leveraging on the White Christmas Street Fair, develop and grow the Placemaking Academy to groom new generation to obtain dynamic ideas that enhance community engagement
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant background
  • Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months); Leadership in coaching and guiding 10+ students to delivering the event
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience gained from a reputable organization in management of events, promotion, sponsorship and/ corporate hospitality programmes
  • Experience and passion in related CSR programmes, e.g. youth empowerment, placemaking education.
  • Experience working in Youth Empowerment projects or programmes
  • Experience mentoring and empowering youths in a corporate setting
  • Extensive event management skills;
  • Demonstrable experience of multi-platform communications;
  • Proven ability to work with, and project manage a diverse range of stakeholders; Resourceful and detailed-oriented, with a keen design eye;
  • Designing and operating a six months curriculum;
  • Creating an alumni programme to nurture Swire Properties placemaking advocates, while create value and opportunities for youngsters.
