We are looking for a Data Engineer aims to support massive data requests (such as data strategy and dashboards of Finance and Portfolios), enable user self-service, and extension to AI or machine learning in the future. Design, develop and deploy a scalable infrastructure equipped with data management and governance components.

• Responsible to develop data pipeline and algorithms to help make business data more useful to the enterprise and offer users access to necessary data, in a usable format
• Maintain analytic tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
• Support the process of data management so that different types of data users can utilize the data with security, accuracy, and swiftness
• Work with stakeholders, business users and external vendors to solicit cooperation and resolve data-related issues and support data infrastructure needs
• Build and maintain data pipelines that transform raw/unstructured data from a wide variety of data sources into formats which is useful for analysis
• Create and maintain the analytics infrastructure of a data platform that enables various data functions
• Assemble large, complex datasets that meet business requirements
• Optimize data retrieval process, organize the collection, processing, and storing of data
• Configure data attributes, manage computing resources and setup monitoring tools
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
• Monitor and track the stability of the data platform
• Develop reports/dashboards for data visualization & analytics
• Comply with established standards and change deployment policy to meet audit requirement
• Maintain operation procedures and documents to ensure proper support model are being in place and followed
• Fix issue with root cause analysis and give resolutions to avoid re-occurring of incidents and events
• Conduct system integration test and user acceptance test to ensure quality of the deliverables, analyse test results to take appropriate follow-up actions

• At least 3 years’ experience in data warehousing solution development
• Experience in SQL/Python programming, and deep knowledge of data model design
• Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Experience in Data visualization/BI tools such as Qlik/PowerBI, etc. Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms is an advantage
